Julie has worked with utilities, renewable energy advocates, and other interested parties to help develop Michigan’s renewable energy policies and procedures including net metering, renewable portfolio standard, wind energy resource zones, and value of solar.
Kris has been an active advocate for the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Michigan for over 10 years and has participated in many grassroots efforts to educate the community about energy efficiency and renewable energy options.
Anne is working on developing Michigan’s first On-Bill Loan Program for energy improvements.
Liesl has been instrumental in building relationships between the clean energy business community and state and federal policymakers, while engaging lawmakers and regulators in the process.
Julie Metty Bennett
Julie cofounded and continues to help manage Michigan Saves, a multimillion-dollar nonprofit that provides financing solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements.
Wendy Olinyk is the co-founder and Vice President of Finance and Administration of Harvest Energy Solutions. Wendy is responsible for leading the company’s financial, administrative operations and human resources.
Cathie’s shift to the energy and agricultural sectors was based on personal interests in renewable energy and growing up in agriculture. She has a lifelong passion for agriculture and preservation of our environment.
Julie Lyons Bricker
Julie has been involved with Michigan IPL since 2007 and has enjoyed engaging in various roles within the organization including Executive Director, Sr. Project Manager, and Treasurer.
Mary is the Executive Director of Michigan Saves. Michigan Saves has enabled more than 12,000 Michiganders (residential and commercial) to invest nearly $80 million in projects that help reduce their carbon footprint.
From assisting with the crafting of the Governor’s 2012 Special Message on Energy and Environment, through the goal-setting of 2014, and his 2015 Special Message on Energy, Valerie has helped champion the Governor’s vision of reducing energy waste.
