Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association Annual Meeting

Come share a fine lunch from the Arbor Brewing Company kitchens and learn what we have been up to in the past year and what our plans are for next year. The meeting will include a GLREA business update, election of new Board members, GLREA annual awards, a tour of the Brewery’s solar thermal and PV systems and two very interesting speakers.

Speaker – Dr. Tom Lyon, UM Business School, UM School of Natural Resources

Tom Lyon holds the Dow Chair of Sustainable Science, Technology and Commerce, with appointments in both the Ross School of Business and the School of Natural Resources and Environment. Professor Lyon teaches courses at UM in Energy Markets and Energy Politics. He is a leader in using economic analysis to understand corporate environmental strategy and how it is shaped by emerging government regulations, non-governmental organizations, and consumer demands. His current research includes a focus on the causes and consequences of renewable energy policy.

Speaker - Larry Ward, Executive Director, Michigan Conservative Energy Forum
