About the Event

This is our 2nd Annual Residential Net Zero Energy Conference that GLREA has organized.  For this event GLREA is partnering with the Michigan Energy Efficiency Contractors Association, Michigan Geothermal Association, Green Home Institute, University of Michigan and Architectural Resource.  This Event is being held on-line and will be focusing on residential homes and structures.  There is no cost to participate in this Event.

This Conference runs on three consecutive nights with sessions from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and then an informal networking session from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.  Each night focuses on a different topic.  The first night is the Conservation of Energy, the second night is the Utilization of Energy and the third is the Generation of Energy.  Join us for all or a portion of the Event.

The goal is to share information on the principles of Net-Zero Energy - which combines reducing energy consumption with renewable energy production.  Net-Zero design and construction is rapidly gaining intererst because  it combines reducing energy expenditures (saving money) with efforts to fight climate change.  It is a growing market segment for architects to design energy efficient homes with new energy efficient building techniques and renewable energy production.

The following is a short summary of the Event. Sign up by clicking on the RSVP button and I will send you the full Agenda.
