GLREA Mid-Year Strategy Event

This year's Mid-Year Strategy Event, will be focusing on GLREA's effort to build support for enacting a Community Solar policy into Michign law. We have two confirmed guest speakers already, with Senator Jeff Irwin, the sponsor of Senate Bill 153 and Carlo Cavallaro, the Midwest Regional Director of the Coalition for Community Solar Acess, a key ally of GLREA's in this effort to enact this policy. 

Enacting Community Solar is vital to the growth of Solar Energy in Michigan. There are a huge number of residents that can't get solar currently, because they live in an apartment, their house isn't suitable for solar, or they can't afford the full up-front cost of installing their own solar energy system.
